Parallel Resistance Calculator
The equivalent resistance of series resistors is the sum of each of the resistors. The equivalent resistance of parallel resistors is computationally more complex. Their conductances are additive. This calculator will compute the parallel equivalent resistance for up to 6 parallel resistors. Fill resistors in starting from R1. For unused resistors leave their value blank. Make sure all blank resistors are at the bottom of the list.
You can use any units on the resistors such as K ohms, or M ohms, so long as you are consistent.
See our standard resistor calculator for a real world resistor value.
